Asus $599 laptop-tablet hybrid works on an Arm CPU, like Microsoft’s Surface tablets.

Asus developed the ExpertBook B3 Detachable for consumers seeking a portable, adaptable tablet for today’s hybrid work environment.

“Users can rely on the ExpertBook B3 Detachable as a laptop ready for anything,” the manufacturer states.

The ExpertBook B3 lacks an Intel or AMD x86 CPU. However, Asus used an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 microprocessor with a 2.55GHz clock speed. The product comes with Arm-based Windows 11, which requires software emulation to run x86 64-bit programmes.
In addition, Asus’s device offers 21 hours of battery life on a single charge. So It weighs 1.3 pounds. The tablet has a fabric-woven back and a pen that can be “garaged” inside.
Asus $599 laptop notes, “The laptop is also geared for video conferencing and cooperation, having a 5-megapixel user-viewing camera and a 13-megapixel world-facing camera, and unique 3D noise-reduction (3DNR) technology.”
